Size and resolution

Larger, higher-resolution monitors are worth more. 24 and 27 inch business monitors are the most liquid.

Connectivity

USB-C and DisplayPort models resell better than VGA-only screens.

Screen condition

Dead pixels, burn-in and scratches are graded. Stands and power cables count.

Data and documentation

Monitors hold no user data. They are tested, graded and resold, and anything that fails goes to a licensed recycler with documentation.

Working business monitors with DisplayPort or HDMI usually have resale value. Older VGA-only screens are recycled.

Do you need the stands?

Yes, if possible. Monitors without stands sell for less.
