How we price
What decides the price of used laptops
Model and generation
An 11th-generation Intel or newer laptop is worth far more than one that cannot run current Windows. We price by exact model, not by weight.
Specification
Processor, RAM, SSD size and screen resolution all move the price. A spreadsheet with service tags gets you the sharpest quote.
Condition grade
Screen, keyboard, hinges and casing are graded A to D. Battery health counts on newer models.
Locks and passwords
BIOS passwords, Computrace or MDM enrolment and Apple Activation Lock cut resale value sharply. Remove them before collection if you can.
Quantity and mix
Larger, uniform batches sell faster and earn a better price per unit.
Data and documentation
How we handle your laptops
Every laptop is logged by serial number on arrival, tested, and its SSD or hard drive erased with verified software to the NIST SP 800-88 guideline. Drives that fail erasure are removed and shredded. You get a certificate per device and one consolidated report.

Frequently asked questions
Do you buy laptops that are not working?
Yes. Laptops with dead batteries, broken screens or no power still have value in parts. We price them separately from working units so you can see the difference.
Do I need to remove the hard drives first?
No. Leave the drives in and we erase them with a certificate per device. Removing drives usually lowers the price, because buyers want complete units.
What is the minimum quantity?
We buy from around 10 laptops upward for businesses. For smaller numbers, send the list anyway and we will tell you if a collection makes sense.
How do you price a mixed batch?
Price per device, based on model, specification and grade. You see each line, not just a total.
